CIP!

Hello, this is your friendly CIP rep speaking! Even though Wei Jie
wanted a non-local to write about CIP today, I wanted to steal the
limelight and write about it because I can. XD

Anyway, a big thank you to all those who went! They are namely: Lay
Ning, You Jin, Qi Han, Da En, Poh Wei, Eng Liang, Shu Hui, Luo Sha
and Xiao Ni. Oh yeah, and me. Haha. I was counting the names and
wondering why there wer only 9 when I knew 10 went.

Most of us were involved in a different area of work today. Instead
of making the dough, most of us were involved in post-production! You
Jin and I were the scissors-people who went around cutting things. XD
Okay, we were cutting the burnt or unsightly bits on the pineapple
tarts. Quality Control mah. =P After the pineapple tarts passed our
initial inspection, Lay Ning would place the pineapple tarts nicely
in their containers, with only the best parts facing outside. XD Qi
Han was actually our cap-tightener at first, and also tray-wiper, but
he eventually graduated and joined us in Quality Control. Poh Wei was
running a one-man show, sealing the containers with just the right
amount of strength, right? He also multi-tasked as he was in charge
of the oven, Every 13 min or so an alarm would ring and he would
disappear for a while before coming back again. Or was it 26? Why
don't you ask the person himself? Haha. I remember Da En was sticking
labels on the containers. And Eng Liang was helping Poh Wei.

Oh yeah! Xiao Ni was working at the bazaar itself, and she supplied
us with more 05S34 price tags! We also made some 04S34 ones.

Guess who we met at The Hiding Place (where we did our CIP) today?
Jia Ling's twin sister! And also our senior Wen Jia. Such a small
world. It always seems that whenever our class (or part of it) goes
out, we always have some kind of coincidence, like finding out people
are on the same MRT as you are. Hehe.

Anyway, I think today's CIP was very fruitful and fun, even though I
did the same thing for about 6 hours. We bonded with the guy
organising the CIP (who's name is Alvin Pan, if you're KPO) who tried
to relieve the monotony of our work by playing simple games with us,
and having Chinese Literature discussions with Qi Han and Lay Ning
who are too pro.

For anyone interested, you are strongly encouraged to turn up for CIP
next Saturday, 11.30am at Yio Chu Kang MRT. It lasts from 12 noon
till 7pm. If you do not leave beforehand (which you can if you have
something on), you can join us for dinner at Compasspoint in Sengkang
(or an alternative, if the majority demands it). Please tell Lay Ning
or me in school as soon as possible because we have to confirm
numbers.

Thank you!
xx Qiqian
